Spanish Bay Continuing Housing Co-operative Ltd. was originally incorporated in 1986 as a Non-profit Housing Co-operative to build new co-op homes under the ILM funding program. The first date of occupancy was November 1, 1987. All the homes are located on Pentecost Drive and Murphy Road. The Co-operative Board was finding it difficult to manage and started looking for solutions. In April 2020 the Co-op Membership voted unanimously to amalgamate with Compass NS and become our sixth Neighbourhood.
