New Armdale Westside Housing Co-operative Limited was incorporated in 2007 as a Non-profit Housing Co-operative as part of a merger of the following Section 95 funded co-ops; Armdale and District Housing Co-operative Limited (Incorporated 1979, occupancy 1984), Amos Housing Co-operative Limited (Incorporated and occupied in 1981), Harbour West Housing Co-operative Limited (Incorporated 1981, occupancy 1982), Nudondin Housing Co-operative Limited (Incorporated 1983, occupancy 1984), and Cliffside Housing Co-operative (Incorporated and occupied in 1984). Unfortunately, some of the original homes were sold. The existing homes are located on Catamaran Road, Circle Drive, Dentith Road, Elmdale Crest, Hartlen Avenue, Hilden Drive, Limerick Road, Mountain Road, Ridge Valley Road and Willams Lake Road. Although the co-op was a merged co-op, they faced financial difficulties. In May of 2022 the Co-op Membership voted unanimously to amalgamate with Compass NS and became our eighth Neighbourhood.
