Chameleon Housing Co-operative Limited, originally incorporated under the name of Matador Court Housing Co-operative Ltd., was originally incorporated in 1981 as a Non-profit Housing Co-operative under the Section 95 funding program. The Co-op decided to change its name to Chameleon Housing Co-operative Limited in 1984. The homes are located on Cockburn Drive, MacDougall Avenue and Sampson Drive. In 2016 the co-op was assigned back to the province as they were no longer able to effectively govern the co-op. In October 2019, Chameleon Housing Co-operative Limited along with 3 co-ops, were amalgamated into Compass NS.
